I'm so over the lack of customer service at this store. I was just there for an hour, and asked for help finding a basket (Oh, uh, well if there aren't any outside then you probably have to look for them in the parking lot...) loading 3 2x12x8s (5 employees saw me struggling and walked right on by) and then having to check everything out myself (they are 100% self check out now, in spite of the fact that there were about 6 employees gathered in the check out area, enjoying themselves and watching me). And you can just forget about getting any help loading said items, i sure did. It's just the worst.

Had my windows replaced in November 2025 through Home Depot. It was a bad experience from start to finish. They didnβt start the day that was scheduled, causing us to spend more money on the rental we had so our 2 year old wouldnβt be in a construction zone. They did a poor job on some of the installation, an absolute terrible job on the finishing work, trim work and caulking job. Extremely sloppy. There was no communication throughout the job, even less quality control. Be prepared to have to find all the mistakes and short cuts yourself. The β2β day job ended up taking over 3 months. The damaged brick that they didnβt want to fix, and did a poor job at fixing that. And they still never finished, I finally just gave up and Iβll finish it myself. With that being said, the actual windows are very nice they seem. Just wish the quality of craftsmanship matched the price tag they charge you. And the blue tape is because they did the job without having the trim pieces, which took over 2 weeks to come in. So that was an attempt at βweather proofingβ around the windows.

Iβd like to share a sincere compliment for MCK Ayla, who has assisted me at the Pro Checkout on several occasions. She is consistently knowledgeable, friendly, and demonstrates an exceptional customerβservice mindset. I especially appreciate how she always takes the time to note the remaining balance on my gift card or store credit β a small gesture that shows her attention to detail and genuine care for customers. Itβs truly a pleasure interacting with her, and I believe she deserves recognition for the outstanding service she provides and the positive attitude she brings every day.

So I normally have good things to say about this place. Unfortunately I had a very bad experience with a manager at the s.I.d location in corpus. When to pick up mulch for a landscape project with a wheelbarrow. The manager that came was a female manager named Randy. She handed the keys to the worker.(a very young female) she was having a hard time opening the lock. It looked like Randy was laughing at the young employee. So I asked if she could help her out because I was pressed for time. She said something under her breath. So I asked if she said something? She turned to me with a mad face and attitude and sad. (Iβll get right on it!) I was a little taken back by what I was hearing and witnessing! I turned to my partner and asked him if I was imagining things? He replied, (nope, she is giving lots of attitude) so thatβs when I asked for her name and she gave it with more attitude and tone. I called the store as I was leaving to talk to a supervisor. She ended up answering as I could still hear that tone in the voice over the phone as well. I asked for the store manager which she replied with she was?! Not sure how she holds the manager position if you act like that.
